7 of the Best Vegan Items to Buy From Luxury Designer Tom Ford

Last year, top luxury fashion designer Tom Ford revealed he was adopting a vegan diet for health reasons.

Last February, he announced he was cutting back on the use of fur and leather in his collections, limiting his use of animal-based fabrics to byproducts of the meat industry. Because of this, most of the luxury designer’s products cannot yet be labeled vegan, but the label does offer a handful of cruelty-free, vegan options.

See below for a list of seven of the top vegan-friendly buys from Tom Ford.

7 of the Best Vegan Items to Buy From Luxury Designer Tom Ford

5. The Side Tie Top

6. Fragrances

This one is all down to each individual consumer. Some of the brand’s perfumes – like Oud Wood – seem not to include animal-derived ingredients. But according to Ethical Elephant, Tom Ford Beauty is owned by Estée Lauder, which tests on animals when required by law.

Tom Ford told the blog, “Tom Ford does not test on animals and we never ask others to do so on our behalf.” It then added, “If a regulatory body demands it for its safety or regulatory assessment, an exception can be made.”

7. Accessories

Not all of the Tom Ford accessories are vegan, however, a number of items – like sunglasses, cufflinks, chokers, cuffs, and earrings – are free of animal-based materials.
