Ok, These Catherine Zeta-Jones Vegan Shoes Are Actually Pretty Cute

Catherine Zeta-Jones just launched a new range of vegan leather shoes.

The vegan sneakers are part of the Academy Award-winning actor’s lifestyle brand, Casa Zeta-Jones.

Zeta-Jones teamed up with British footwear brand Butterfly Twists to create the line of vegan shoes. And in addition to the leather-free kicks, she also launched an activewear line, which includes bra tops, joggers, jackets, and more.

Zeta-Jones says her own affinity for shoes originally inspired her to create the shoe line. “I love all kinds of shoes. What woman doesn’t? It’s important to me that I can create something that is elegant and comfortable, and still at a great price point,” she said.

The actor first launched Casa Zeta-Jones back in 2017. The brand originally featured home decor products. But Zeta-Jones decided to grow the brand to encompass her love of fashion.

“I also wanted to expand my brand, Casa Zeta-Jones, into the fashion arena. So I’m starting from the ground up, literally. Butterfly Twists is a well-known shoe brand in England, and it is a global company with more than 67 territories,” she continued. “I wanted that kind of reach so I could provide my shoes to women everywhere.”

Originally, the collection included a wide range of ballet flats and points. But, in line with the actor’s new activewear collection, the range’s six new sneaker additions are sporty, without skimping on comfort.

“Both of these collections are perfect for my ladies who want elegant comfort and versatility without sacrificing style,” Zeta-Jones said.

The exclusive collaboration with Butterfly Twists features bold designs reminiscent of Zeta-Jones elegant style.

“I love their brand and knew I could collaborate with them on something really fresh and different,” the actor said in a statement.

She also opted for the British shoe brand because it’s completely vegan, too. “Vegan materials are so advanced and luxurious now it is difficult to tell the difference between real leather and vegan leather,” she said. “I know that it’s an important consideration for many women and I’m happy I can create something that is sustainable without sacrificing style.”

In addition to the vegan shoe range, Casa Zeta-Jones plans to launch a number of other products in the realm of fashion and beauty. “There are a few more unexpected surprises in store,” Zeta-Jones said.
