Spread the Love: Very-Easy-to-Make Vegan Herb Butter

Share

When it comes to herbs, there are two types of people: the growers and the buyers. Some people have their own herb gardens and share Instagram pics of its developments every 20 minutes. Others buy fresh herbs at the store, then let them wither away in the fridge next to a near-empty container of hummus from Y2K. OK, those are extreme ends of the spectrum. But if you’ve got herbs — no matter how you got them — this easy vegan herb butter recipe will seriously impress your friends (or just elevate Tuesday night dinner). And no churning necessary. Did you really think we would have you churning?

Ingredients

1/2 cup (8 tablespoons) vegan butter
1 to 3 teaspoons finely chopped fresh herbs
1 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)
Salt, to taste
Microplane grater, if adding lemon zest
Parchment paper
