Field Roast Debuts Vegan Chao Cheese Dressing and Dips

Artisan vegan brand, Field Roast, has debuted not one, but three new Chao dressings and dips from their vegan cheese creamery.  Bold and Tangy Thousand Island, Classic Caesar, and Cracked Peppercorn Ranch are the three new flavors shoppers will get to choose from.

Vegan media publication, Vegnews, shared snaps of the 340ml brand-new bottled sauces with the caption: “@fieldroast never fails to amaze us! These new vegan dressings are absolutely delicious!”

This isn’t Field Roast’s first vegan cheese option to be released, the company’s Chao creamery makes 100% vegan cheese slices and pre-made Mac n’ Chao meals too. Named after an old Asian culinary tradition of fermenting tofu, the creamery’s cheese is popular with the westernized Asian market, resonating with many health-conscious people.

“[T]oday our ever-expanding line of Chao Creamery products give homage to the flavorful plant kingdom and celebrate umami at its finest, using Chao as an important ingredient,” Field Roast stated about their Chao creamery, which began back in 2003.  “Instead of making fake dairy products that mimic the traditional flavors found there, we have innovated new flavors to delight and inspire you, and extend that to creamy spreads, sauces, and dressings.”

In addition to the Chao Creamery offerings, Field Roast manufactures a range of vegan meats that hold a striking resemblance to the taste, texture, and appearance of animal meat. Sausages, deli slices, Fieldburger, Roasts & Loaves, appetizers, and entrees can be found from Field Roast’s website, and are supplied by many stores across the North America region.

The brand’s vegan-friendly status came under speculation last year, after being purchased by Canada’s largest pork processors. However, rest assured, Field Roast has pledged to remain a fully vegan company; ensuring all its new products, such as its newly released dressings and dips, remain devoid of animal products.
