Kelly Osbourne to Host Mercy for Animals’ Vegan ‘Hidden Heroes’ Benefit

Vegan reality star Kelly Osbourne is set to host the fourth annual “Hidden Heroes Gala,” a celebration that honors the undercover investigators and supporters of the international animal rights non-profit organization, Mercy for Animals (MFA).

“To be held once again at the landmark Vibiana in downtown Los Angeles, this black-tie event will move and inspire you,” says the organization on the gala’s official website. “Enjoy a chic black-carpet reception with celebrities, vegan appetizers, cocktails, and more under the tranquil Southern California sky.”

In addition to Kelly Osbourne, MFA’s charity event will welcome numerous vegan stars who will act as presenters or members of the honorary celebrity committee. Vegan actor Alec Baldwin, former football player and social justice advocate Colin Kaepernick, “Sopranos” star Edie Falco, actor Kimberly Elise, vegan LGBTQ+ activist Alan Cumming, Vegan Lady Boss and Smarties candy co-president Liz Dee, as well as Kat Von D, Moby, Alicia Silverstone, and others will lend their star power support to the event.

“Step inside a true architectural masterpiece—Vibiana’s breathtaking cathedral—for a gourmet vegan dinner and star-studded awards show,” says MFA.“The after-party under the stars will be rocking again this year, so bring your dancing shoes to silent disco the night away!”

In addition to having an impressive celebrity honorary committee, various vegan organizations and brands will sponsor the event, including vegan venture capital firms New Crop Capital and Stray Dog Capital, sustainable investment firm The Prospect FundThe Good Food Institute, and Chalie’s Acres farm animal sanctuary. Plant-based food brands Beyond Meat New Wave Foods, Ocean Hugger Foods, Kite Hill, and others will also act as sponsors.

The Hidden Heroes Gala is set to take place on September 15th in downtown Los Angeles, California at the historic Vibiana.
