California's Disneyland theme park just opened its first craft-beer taproom. The venue, operated by the Ballast Point brewery, serves up plant-based food and a wide range of vegan beer. A 4,000 sq. ft. glass-enclosed bar and restaurant and a 3,000 sq. ft. outdoor beer garden make up the family-friendly venue,\u00a0according to a press release. Guests can enjoy plates of lettuce cups filled with Impossible Foods plant-based meat, peppers, hoisin sauce, sriracha, garlic, lime, and Fresno chilis. Soyrizo and cauliflower tacos featuring avocado, chipotle tofu aioli, and marinated vegetables, served alongside chips and salsa, is also on offer as an entr\u00e9e. More than fifty styles of Ballast Point's "adventurous beer" is available across 100 tap lines, the press release said. In 2011, Ballast Point stopped using a common gelatin-based filtration process for its beer. Disney has been particularly sensitive to shifting consumer preferences, making plant-based food more readily available at many of its theme parks. California's Disneyland was home to four vegan meals in honor of World Vegan Day last year, and offers dairy-free Dole Whip\u00a0all year round. The cult-favorite dessert just extended beyond its signature pineapple flavor to include\u00a0orange and raspberry flavors as well. Vegan gumbo, burgers, cupcakes, pizza, pasta, sandwiches, and crepes are also available. In Florida, Disney World serves\u00a0vegan egg and sausage breakfast, complete with scrambled eggs from JUST and meat from Beyond Meat. It also houses Erin McKenna's vegan and gluten-free bakery in Disney Springs.
