In the waterfront city of Kenosha, Wisconsin, one couple is providing the local community with access to fresh, home-cooked vegan meals. Kenosha News reports that former restaurateurs Dama and Lamar Foster plant-based meals to more than a dozen clients through their vegan meal delivery service, Sol D'Licious Kitchen. Some clients, such as 73-year-old Cheryl Argiewicz, have health issues that make going grocery shopping and cooking a challenge. The Fosters see to it that every Sunday, she has healthy vegan meals to get her through the week. "You only get one body," Dama said. "You should take care of your insides like you do your outside appearance." Sol D'Licious Kitchen specializes primarily in American cuisine, offering vegan sloppy joes, gluten and dairy-free fettuccine alfredo, pizzas, creamy butternut squash soup, roasted vegetable bowls, and juice cleanses.
