Ingredients

For the green beans

  • 200g green beans, washed and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon flaked almonds
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • A sprinkle of chili flakes

For the almond butter drizzle

  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened almond butter
  • Juice of 1/2 a lemon
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1-2 tablespoons water

Preparation

    Heat 200-300ml of water in a large saucepan, place a steamer basket on top, and steam your green beans for 4-5 minutes until luscious and green.

    In the meantime, whisk up your sauce: add the almond butter, lemon juice, salt, hot sauce, and water into a small bowl and whisk to combine until smooth.
