Los Angeles-based vegan confection startup Dream Pops has announced that its premier product, a vegan ice cream popsicle made using fruit, superfoods, and 3D printed molds, is now available at select Starbucks locations throughout the city.

According to Dream Pops, the dairy-free popsicles will be available at the following five L.A. Starbucks locations: La  Brea and 4th, Melrose and Stanley, Third Street Promenade, Wilshire and Santa Monica, and San Vincente and Barrington. The brand currently offers its vegan ice cream pops in the flavors Berry Dreams, Mango Rosemary, Coconut Latte, Vanilla Matcha, and as a “Dream Flight,” which includes all flavors.

David Greenfield, CEO and one of Dream Pops’s three co-founders, told Starter Story that the brand is the first-ever superfood ice cream on the market that leverages 3D printing technology, a three-star  Michelin chef, and plant-based ingredients to “rethink the ice cream category.” 

Additionally, Dream Pops is one of the healthiest offerings in the ice cream category, containing fewer than 100 calories and seven grans of sugar per pop. They are also free from soy and gluten.

Dream Pops has already caught the attention of Google, Buzzfeed, and Vogue, who have praised it for its design and innovation. According to Greenfield, Dream Pops are only the beginning for the company: “our aim is to become the Willy Wonka of plant-based confections starting with our first product the Dream Pop and extending into adjacent better-for-you desserts.”
