British café chain Patisserie Valerie just introduced a vegan brunch menu featuring several raw vegan cakes.
Patisserie Valerie, founded in 1926, has 96 locations across the UK. The chain’s new all-day brunch menu includes plant-based breakfasts and slices of raw vegan cake. The handmade desserts are made with seasonal ingredients and are free from gluten, preservatives, additives, soy, and refined sugar.

1. Vegan Breakfasts
Madame Valerie’s Vegan Breakfast features mashed avocado and smoked houmous with harissa on organic bloomer toast. It also comes with grilled plum tomato, a flat mushroom, baked beans, and watercress topped with crushed chillies, pumpkin, and sunflower seeds.
The chain also offers vegan smashed avocado on toast topped with grilled tomato and paprika.
Patisserie Valerie’s porridge oats can be made with almond or soya milk. The vegan breakfast is served with maple syrup, bananas, and blueberries. The chain’s smoked houmous harissa croissant comes with char-grilled vegetables and is also free from animal products.

This vegan chocolate and raspberry cake features “silky rich” raw cacao and a “luscious layer of tangy sweet fresh raspberry.” It’s made with cashews, almonds, dates, coconut, and maple syrup.

Patisserie Valerie’s creamy vegan chocolate cake is a raw plant-based take on its best-selling Double Chocolate Delight.
“Dates give a lovely natural sweetness that replaces traditional cane sugar in this raw chocolate cake. High in minerals, potassium, chromium, magnesium, and iron, they give this beautiful cake an indulgent gooey texture, whilst the cacao, gives the cake its delicious rich depth,” explains Victor Masson, Patisserie Valerie’s pâtissier, on the Patisserie Valerie website.

The Patisserie Valerie vegan tiramisu cake is inspired by its Giotto tiramisu cake. The vegan version features rich cold-pressed coffee and raw cacao, a creamy walnut and almond base, and bold Italian flavours.
The company describes it as a “must for all coffee lovers.”

This sweet treat is made with real fresh strawberries, cashews, dates, cacao butter, and lemon juice. It’s handmade in small batches with raw ingredients.
