The Vegan Foodie Festival Arrives in Dublin – But It’s Not Just For Vegans

Share

The Vegan Foodie Festival is coming to Dublin this weekend from January 19th to the 21st. Throughout this weekend, a list of restaurants will be making new and special menus just for the occasion.

This is more than a simple festival, however. Although the event is fun, there is a lot of business thought that’s going on behind the scenes. The Vegan Foodie team describe themselves as:

…food influencers, event professionals, vegan / plant-based food consultants and marketing people. Our mission is to create more demand for vegan food and products. If you are running vegan / vegan friendly business or thinking to start one, we are here for you.”

The festival is intended to encourage more restaurants to stock vegan options, as well as introduce non-vegans to plant based foods. The event not only encourages people to try something new but also increases public awareness about veganism and how much more accessible it is becoming. It’s the perfect outing for vegans and non-vegans alike.

They ensure that the menus are current, giving people delicious options that not only taste good but are good for them. They write, “If you want to sell vegan options in your restaurant you have to remember that steamed vegetable plates and plain salads are NOT best vegan options those days.” This means non-vegans won’t have to worry that they’ll be left eating nothing but a plate full of greens.
