Ethical veggie and vegan brand, Oumph!, have announced the addition of two new pizzas to their existing range of products. The company posted an image of the newbies, one grilled style with peppers and red onions and the other Italian style with semi dried tomatoes and rocket, on their Instagram account. The caption stated, “Happy World Vegan Pizza Day! These two stars will be joining the Oumph! Family week 7!”
Oumph! Products are available across the UK in all Whole Foods Markets and additionally across the Nordic region in many different stores and eateries. The brand also provide vegan meat products made from soya in a wide variety of flavours, such as Thyme & Garlic, Salty & Smoky and Tandoori BBQ.
Writing on their website the company state, “we believe in mouth-watering food. Food that’s delicious, easy to cook, and crazy good for the environment. And that’s Oumph! Really good food, made from beans, with a climate impact so low that you, and everyone else on this planet, can eat it every day.” The team add, “Oumph! Is rich in protein and fibre. And a source to iron and folic acid.”
“we are driven by an ambition to decrease our climate impact drastically, while increasing the health of as many people as possible. And Oumph! Will help do just that. We’ve developed several varieties of Oumph!, Seasoned and unseasoned, for you to use in an endless choice of dishes.”
The brand is not the only company keeping the frozen vegan pizza dream alive, Goodfella’s recently announced the launch of their new vegan stone baked pizza. Complete with hummus and falafel, the new pizza from the UK company is due to arrive on supermarket shelves in March. Vegan White Rabbit pizzas are also available from Sainsburys along with popular Italian chain, Zizzi’s own brand pizzas with vegan cheese.
With so many alternatives now on the market, going vegan no longer means missing out on kicking back with a quick and tasty pizza in your own home.
